6 years ago God called us to Southside, now BNC and I am amazed at His gracious care and compassion for the work here in Rural America. I believe He is passionate about Rural America because it’s the “second choice” and His return is soon. In Luke 14 Jesus tells a parable about a banquet feast and He invites many guest who make some great excuses. The table is still full and the master is bitterly upset that people are saying no so he says, “‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full.” Jesus is making them come in and God is doing some amazing things.

Six years ago 31 people voted yes on my first Sunday at Southside! I wonder if they ever dreamed we would be reaching the world!! Thank you Jesus for Brand New Church…population 407!

Derek Simpkins says,
One of the locations that excites me more than anything that we have reached is Kuwait. Last Sunday at 11:00 we had 2 different computers attending from Kuwait. God is truly working at BNC!

That is awesome! I had the pleasure of hearing Shannon’s “view of a call” message at Southside…one of the few times I have ever seen him in a tie!!

Population 407?
Monday through Saturday maybe but not on Sunday. That number keeps growing every week. Praise Jesus. We need to put a Population Sign at the entrance of BNC parking lot only problem would be we would have to change every week.

Lauren Neuner says,
Wow! How can I describe it in just a few words? Mr. Granda Joe, this is how I can. It is a true family in Christ to my husband and myself. It lines up with Acts Chapter 2, a beautiful description of the very first church. To put it simply, Brand New Church tries it best to excel in these guidelines:
1-no irrelevant teaching-Brand New Church teaches directly from the word of God, a fresh teaching but WITHOUT compromise to any agenda, or popular cultural standard.
2-all are welcome-no matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, what you’ve downloaded on the internet an hour ago. Jesus welcomed all!
3-no masks are worn-people are encouraged to be transparent and honest in order to be set free from their struggle with whatever separates them from God.
4-no part-time worship allowed-people are encouraged to live out the Word everyday, every hour in their home and marriages, and to have a daily Bible reading and several events throughout the week are planned to foster fellowship and discipleship. People are encouraged to embrace the blessing in serving in the church.
5-no perfect people, but CHANGED people-there are myriads of examples of us whose lives have been changed through Brand New Church, but the church is merely a vessel of the mercy and direction of Jesus.
I hope that helps for you, God Bless, Lauren

Zach Lee says,
Its amazing to see all the different levels of Gods hand and anointing through this journey, to see staff members bloom in their call to this mission, to see volunteers take charge and lead our church on fire for “Him” and to see so many people that have been transformed is what its all about, I have never been around a leader of Shannon’s caliber and probably never will again. Whats funny is that we are really only 2-3yrs into this journey!
