God does not spare words when it comes to hard work and diligence. I encourage every leader to utilize these notes to lift up and exhort their teams to work at the next level.

Use these and live these truths:

What are the best excuses for weak job performance?
Boss is a pain in the neck, I deserve, my gifts are just not used here, I could be making more at,

Why are we also looking for HIGHER WAGES and not HARD WORK
Our job can interfere with family, time with the kids, time serving the King…because they want to make a wanting and instead of making a living.
Prov. 14:23 “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.”

Human labor is a God given gift.
Parenting, Students, Employees, Marriage, Kid, Relationships
Acts 20:35 “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive. “
Eight Action Verbs in Genesis:
God created. God moved. God separated. God called. God made. God gathered. God placed. God blessed.
God has a huge work ethic and we were created in His image…
Work is simply mirroring the image and personality of God!
Let me say:
There is a difference between HARD WORK and PROFESSION OBESSION
Isaiah 32:17 “The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.”
Gen. 2:2 “By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested [a] from all his work”

Truthful reasons we are not effective on the job:
Laziness
Proverbs 12:24 “Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.”
Prov. 10:4 “Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.”
Prov. 18:9 “A brother who is slack in his work is brother to one who destroys.”
Prov. 21:25 “The sluggard’s craving will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work.”
I am doing fine…could you be doing more…not just getting by
Show up late, do you not fulfill deadlines, cancel appts.
Blame
Prov. 19:3 “People ruin their lives by their own stupidity, so why does God always get blamed?” (The Message)
My boss is a jerk…they own me…he doesn’t give me the respect I deserve
No Commitment
Your character is demonstrated by your commitment to a job
The laboratory of your ethic and initiative is found in your work.
Who God is in your life is exposed through your commitments
Rebellion
You are not loyal to authority…
You talk about your boss and then get your paycheck.
Jesus talks about this principle John 4:38 “I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”
Don’t bad mouth the man or woman who to risk, invested so you could have a check.

How do I remove the excuses:
Initiative
Prov. 16:26 “The laborer’s appetite works for him; his hunger drives him on.”
Disposition
Quit looking of for the position and work hard
Disposition is character or inclination or tendency…that is from hard work!!

Lift your boss up!!!

The amount will never bring the fulfillment…your work ethic will be the same no matter how much you make!
