This Is What It’s All About!

By Shannon O'Dell / Posted on 03 April 2009

Cody Chaffin, a seventh grader at Harrison Junior High School, is kicking an awesome BIble Club on campus. This is what it is all about!! He and a friend founded this club a few weeks ago and it is effecting their friends and peers. It challenged me to ask this question…What are we doing to change our places of influence…especially our homes. Can you imagine the difference our world would see if we had Bible Clubs in our houses. Ask God if He wouldn’t be pleased to have a Bible Club in your home, workplace, country club or school.

Great job Cody…you have challenged me and thousands reading this blog:

Amazing this is the church of today. this reminds me of the bible verse found on PRO 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.is so true this are the fruits of the harvest who someone toke the time to plant the seed care for it and help them to be shaped in a way where, when it was time to harvest, well here are the results… enough said…

Cody, my man! I’m going to assume you will check out this blog… I am SO proud of you! “I’m not ashamed of the gospel.” Preach, Cody! I hear you have things all shook up at your school. That’s the risk taking and influence God has called us to for His message. You are a leader. Thank You for not desiring to please man but the “audience of ONE!”
This is the influence we want to be at Brand New Church in our communities, our families and our schools. Amazing parents and spiritual leaders bringing up students and children for what they can be TODAY… not SOMEDAY.

Pastor Shannon, you need to pat yourself on the back, when you start reaching the children, in this day and age, God has truly blessed you! Be proud of what you do at BNC.. We wouldn’t have gotten this far without you and Cindy.. I am proud to be a part of all of you…..

Age is not a hinderance for GOD to manifest HIMSELF to the peple through human being. In the bible GOD use a little boy who have 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread to feed 5,000 men. That boy had a willing heart to carry this food. If anyone has a willing heart to carry the WORD OF GOD, then he will be used as a noble vessel for noble work/purpose and he/she will bring many soul in the kingdom of GOD. Don’t ever despise anyone because of his/her age.
