Three weekends ago we shared with you the hurtful process of layoffs. We cautiously and painfully released staff due to budgeting issues. Once again God has showed me that nothing can stop HIS PLAN. I wanted to update you with some of the latest news:
A. Since the news, our giving for the last three weekends has been through the roof. Thank you Brand New Church for your obedient giving and selflessness. So many of you have given, encouraged, and sacrificed for the continuing vision God has given us.
B. Due to increased giving and support we are able to reinstate two positional layoffs. We stated from the beginning that it is up to us as His kids and you have stepped up to the plate. Thank you for making this possible.
C. Obedience is the key to continuing God’s plan for all He has for us at Brand New Church
D. No one can stop God’s plan to advance His Church…check this verse out…Acts 5:38-39 “If their purpose or activity is of human origin it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”
We are watching God move and work in such a fresh way…
-Bryant campus had over 80 children this weekend…
-Mountain Home had 40+ visitors last weekend
-Bergman and Bryant had baptisms again this weekend
-Jonesboro house church is continuing to grow
-We are expecting two more house churches next month in FL and OK
-”Transparency” (May 8-9) our parenting conference is causing quite a buzz
-This blog and our website is growing weekly
-I watched Derek, serving our iCampus, lead a man from India to Christ during our 11 am service Sunday
-Our staff is creating, growing and leading ministry on levels I have never seen
We cannot fight against God’s plan…He is leading you and me to reach those far from God with greater passion and deeper sacrifice than ever before!! Let’s remember…it’s all about God and for God.

This is such a blessing!! It is amazing to see what God can do through his people when we are obeident! I so look forward to what God has planned for us as a church in the future! It is so much fun doing His will! He already has a plan we just have to listen and obey!!!
