Breaking All the Rurals

We are excited about our sixth campus beginning in the Quitman, Texas Civic Center September 12, 2010.  I am asked regularly, “How do you know that place, is the place, for another campus?”.  My answer is always “as you walk with God, you just know”.  I am also asked, “what do you want in place before starting a campus?”.

Here are a few musts for BNC before a campus crank up:

#1 Listen
Do NOT start multi campus, or the next campus, unless God says go.
#2 Leadership
The location has to have a leader/host family ready to do “whatever” it takes to get it off the ground.
#3 Location
You need a great place for kids when you pick a facility. Not perfect, but a safe, clean area to build confidence in the visiting parents.
#4 Loyalty
Find a host or campus pastor that understands, bleeds and carries the vision of your pastor and church.
#5 Lighting
Make sure you can accommodate an atmosphere of worship successfully. Fluorescence does not equal success!
#6 Language
Choose and commit to the message delivery choice. DVD, DSL, Satellite or Live are a few communication options. Once you determine it, stick to it and have a back up plan.
