Today, I felt like splurging on some ice cream and stopping by Dairy Queen (the Ruth’s Chris of rural America) with my gorgeous wife and kids. As I was there, two different families shared with me their appreciation for the message yesterday. They do not attend our church buildings, but regularly attend online . I am always amazed at how God uses His vision to change lives through technology. Yesterday, according to Google Analytics (not evangelistic pastoral falsifying) we had 28 states, 5 different countries and over 300 attending worship with us at brandnewchurch.com delivered from a town of 407. . I know churches and ministries that have added thousands of square feet, thousands in mortgages, thousands in missions, to reach more. This is the most effective outreach to America and the world I have ever been apart of. Pastors and church leaders, I want to challenge you to pray about starting an online campus at your church. Here are a just a few reasons why:
#1 You can obey God’s Great Commission…”Go into all the worlds”
#2 It is INEXPENSIVE! Costs under $100 a month to operate. Start-up costs are minimal as well.
#3 If our internet speeds can handle it, yours definitely can!
#4 Maintenance is minimal to none (we even use the iPencil for repairs).
#5 No building mortgage.
#6 Some of the best messages are being preached by you and the world needs to hear them.
#7 Everyone can attend church even in bad weather.
#8 People new to your area can check out your church any day of the week.

Call me partial, but I’m a pretty big fan! I’m so blessed to have been called to this area of ministry, and any time I’m able to share the vision and mission behind iCampus, I feel even more blessed. I think most of all, though, I find it so empowering that for years the internet has been a one stop porn shop… and now we’re taking it back for the cause of Christ!
