  1. #1 My Senior Pastor resigned officially Sunday to take a Pastor position at SaddleBack in California. I’m looking forward to filling the pulpit again. Praying for peace in the congregation.
#2 Feeling God leading me to Pastor instead of youth pastor, but not necessarily at my church.
#3 Preparing to preach an innovative series out of 1 Corinthians, titled “One Body”.
#4 Today is the last day of school for the majority of my students, and my son.
#5 About to go help out with our church’s food pantry the “Storehouse”. Serving the Least, The Last, and the Lost. (BNC Purpose statement) Sorry, I had to steal that one.
#6 Preparing for a week of VBS. Theme: Egypt
#7 Northlake Mission Trip to Kansas City to help church planter Jamie Jones.
#8 Church Camp – Camp Ozark
#9 All of this along with filling multiple roles within the church. God works in mysterious ways.
#10 Seeking God’s will for my life, priceless.
#11 Cant forget that the wife and I are expecting a baby girl named Trinity in just a matter 8 weeks or so.
#12 Back to Pastoring, I turned down a pastoral opportunity due to the need of my church. Being faithful to God’s call is more important than any position.
#13 Paitienly waiting in expectation for God’s omnipotence to use me to the fullest.
#14 Seeking to be a better husband, father, and friend.
    #15 Maranatha!

  2. Zach says,

for some reason every weekend God raises the bar here at brandnewchurch. I have never been or never will be apart of a more faith filled journey. People are dying for truth and authenticity. As the creative arts team we “WILL” create an atmosphere of FAITH and EXPECTATION. God is putting armor all over Shannon and preparing us for eternal things.. PRAISE GOD!!

  4. Brad Dick says,

WOW! Our church is going through the conflict stage of growth that you talked about in your book. The enemy is trying to discourage me but this blog just made me realize how much is going right. We have went from a 100% 70+ in age church of 12 to a 55% age 35 and under church of 31 in a year. God is working in our community through our ministry and lives are being transformed. They haven’t committed to services but they are on their way. GOD IS AWESOME!
    Thanks for the encouragement
