This might sound like a shameless plug for a gift this Christmas, but it’s not. This is an opportunity to remind church leaders and attenders to bless their spiritual leader during this season. “We would get him a gift, but I don’t know what he would want.” First, let me remind you what not to get him…Scripture Art, Picture with Jesus on it, Subscription to Sermon Central, Coffee Mug, Greatest Pastor Plague, Tie, Fruitcake, or a New Bible.
Here are some great ideas for your pastor this Christmas:
#1 Car Detail
A pastors car is a great tool for ministry, but typically very lived in.
#2 Office Remodel
Make sure their office looks like they are living in the 21st century. Not just a picture, but a complete facelift if needed.
#3 A Mac
A good computer good be the difference maker for communication, study, and further education.
You maybe cannot afford it, so get a few couples to pitch in.
#4 Trip to a Great Conference
C3 Conference would be my recommendation, but there are so many great leadership events that will enhance their excellence, and vision.
#5 Love Offering
Bless financially! A Christmas bonus is great, but a free will offering can prove supernatural.
#6 Restaurant Gift Cards
A Pastor is always taking families to dinner, and needing more date nights.
#7 Hobby Enhancer
Espresso Machine, Gun, Bow, Pens, Chainsaw, Smoker, Guitar, Golf Clubs…
Just a few ideas to bless your leader…because God loves a cheerful giver. Merry Christmas!!

What a great list, and so accurate! Pastor Ashley was just saying that he would love a car detail!

As a Pastor…I am in 100% agreement that I do not want the “greatest pastor plague” for Christmas.
I don’t know what it is but it sounds bad.
And plaques aren’t that great either…
