The next few days I am going to highlight what I RECEIVED from God and His messengers during the C3 Conference. Pastor Ed Young began the conference with a foreign concept…HONOR. Attending Fellowship Church and being with some great leaders I learned what it means to honor God’s servants. John 12:26 ” My Father will honor the one who serves me.” Pastor Ed said, “It’s time to bring honor back…” and I agree. 1 Sam 26:11 “LORD forbid that I should lay a hand on the LORD’s anointed.”
Here are the highlights:
- Honor is ascension, Dishonor is descension.
- Dishonor brings disarray, Honor bring order.
- Honor is order…Order effects outcome.
- Envy and Jealousy are the forerunner for Dishonor.
- Honor is the Story behind the Glory.
- Dishonor is the desire to acquire gone haywire.
- Honor is about those who got your back.
- Honor happens when the person does not deserve it, but still receives it. (David honoring Saul.)
- Church structure is often about dishonor.
- Honor when you don’t feel honored.
- Commonality goes hand in hand with dishonor.
- Drill down into dishonor.
- Somebody honor somebody.
I am beginning today! Who must you give honor to today? Even if they don’t deserve it.
