Valentines is one of my favorite holidays (three of our children were born in November…need I say more.) I gave my wife her Valentines present early and she now thinks I am a SUPERHERO. It wasn’t a card, flowers, box of chocolates, new outfit, massage, manicure or pedicure. It’s a gift that will continue to give back year after year, not only for us, but for our entire household and church family. What is it…MARRIAGE COUNSELING! I spend money every year to better my archery, teaching methods, parenting knowledge, and for the last two years my marriage. Why would we take our kids to swimming lessons, ball practice or improve our golf game and not better our marriage?
Here are few reasons why you should purchase this gift:
#1 There is always room for improvement.
#2 I am not as good as I think I am.
#3 It communicates that I am a learner to my wife.
#4 My perception is not always reality.
#5 When I heed others opinion it tells Cindy I am a listener.
#6 Increases marital intimacy.
#7 I need accountability.
#8 Nothing makes my wife feel safer.
Cindy and I do our marriage counseling in Los Colinas, TX (DFW) with one of the best Dr. Jonathan Cude. Communicate LOVE to your spouse and pray about this gift for Valentines Day.

Wow, that is a really awesome Valentine’s gift to give a wife or husband. More appropriate for a husband to give a wife, because most wives’ husbands wouldn’t accept this gift. You are such an open and honest and down to earth pastor, that is why the Lord is choosing to use YOU in such a great way, you are so humble. Keep up the good work.
